The trip to Russia




We went to the center of the city today and I have to say it looks better than the place around it. Apparently Astrakhan is celebrating its 450th birthday this october, so it's being renovated all over.






this is a so called the marriage bridge. It's a tradition for the newly weds to tie a colored ribbon on it and a keylock


the bridge is fairly new, but its already full of keylocks


i got my graveyard photo but I only had few seconds time to shoot it. Dad wasnt too pleased with my intention of taking its picture :( I've never seen a graveyard this big. It would probably take an hour, to walk around it.


last but not least, me. heheh

Your posts from Russia make me very emotional, especially these of Astrakhan. I wonder why :)?

My favourite in this post are the last two photos. I find the crosses beautiful and the grey suits the picture (guides my focus to the shapes on it, when I usually see the colours first). On the last I like focus on you, while the mirror frame and the surroundings are not sharp. ... aaand it's nice to see you XD

Russian graveyards are always soo creepy XD Donno why. I always have the feeling something is going to jump on me behind the next grave....especially after watching Supernatural. XDDD

I like the second pic. Really pretty.

Really? Well, graveyards are all creepy in general, usually i dont come near them at all, but it was for the first time that I saw one this huge, and totally different from ones we have here. :D

Hey, I found your journal by clinking something, er obviously, anyway it was a banner you did for a story that's well I can't remember the story now. But I was wondering if you sold prints or anything, because I'll be honest I am *completely* in love with the key lock bridge thing. It's amazing. *cough* and now I feel crazy and weird so I'm going to ah, go.

Really really well done on all of these btw.

Uwaa, thankyou :D

Yeah I did a banner for cas-despere's "the hunter and his prey" it was a fun job to do hehe :D

Unfortunately I havent sold any prints so far, actually, Im not sure how that works (do I have to print it and ship it to the buyer or...)

If you can fill me in on that, Im sure we can manage something, if you're interested in buying :D
