On Top Of The Rainbow Animation
Well, its finally here! The animation that I made during animation festival Animateka 2008. We had a week to come up with idea and draw it in the TV Paint Animation. I stretched my deadline to two weeks, coz I like to complicate stuff and love to give attention to details.

Actually no, its not a reference to Hitchhikers Guide (everyone's askin me the same thing lol), I havent read it, or seen the movie yet :D.

I've dreamed of flying whales once, so it's been carved into my mind ever since hehe. Oh and I've also seen Fantasia 2000, maybe the dream came from there :D

Oh, that page is adorable :D my friend gave me a link once :D

Animateka is a festival that lasts one week, during which there are screenings of animations made by individuals, small studios etc. I think anyone can enter if they have a good idea and the will to make something.

I think its best that you check out this webpage Animateka. Its not a BIG festival, but it is been going on for a few years now.

Yup, there was a competition, but I didnt participate. It was my first time making an animation that long ;) It was shown on the big screen tho, just after the competition, along with other animations made that week :D

Maybe I'll join the competition one day XD
