I think I've seen....nothingness

So, me and my classmate decided that we'll visit our friend thats on a student exchange in Denmark.

After getting up at 5AM, me and my friend arrived at the airport, gone trough security checks and waited for the boarding time.

After an hour and thirty minutes of flying (and watching a cool movie called Righteous Kill), we arrived in the airport in København where Peter waited for us... or should I say we waited for him to show up, coz he was busy getting himself some cofefe first.

We went on a drive around the town then, and parked somewhere so we could explore the city. Even though Peter warned us about empty cities, it was still fascinating to see nearly empty streets on a Saturday morning.

Kind of looks like a ghost town, doesn't it?

Oh look cars! It so funny, you can cross over a "busy" road in town with no problem, coz they're EMPTY haha!

We walked around for hours, and my feet were beginning to kill me (for someone that sits all day and draws stupid things, I have no stamina at all hehe). The weather wasn't so good, it was dark and foggy with 2°C and a cold wind =_=. But otherwise, København seems like an interesting place with VERY short traffic light intervals for pedestrians (or as Peter said grandma-unfriendly traffic lights).

some interesting architectures

I love how the houses are all different colors, even it the foggy weather, they look nice :D

two brave people that decided they wanted to train in this fearful weather

We went to the beach, just before the end of day and encountered a path full of Denmark flags. When we asked Peter why there were so many, he just shrugged and said "I guess they're happy". Sadly my battery died after taking this pic, and I wasn't able to document anymore XD...

After a tour around København, we went on a two hour drive home to Kolding. We crossed this wickedly awesome bridge, that I'm sure I'll take pictures off when we cross it again coz it was awesome!

Ok, so this was it for the day one... which was yesterday. I was to tired to do anything when we came home hehe. I'll be posting the second day later as well.

Where did all the people of København go? Did they escape the dreary weather? It's weird to see a town of that size so empty. I don't remember it being this quiet.

Looking forward to more pictures, I love traveling behind my computer:)

Actually, there was this one time when I was in Maribor for Magdalena festival, I encountered a similar situation XD Just as deserted. I have to admit, I like it way more than crowded cities like, London for example :D
